Crank 2 – High Voltage

Hey.  I’m back.  I’ve been gone from this thing for a bit.  Sorry, I know you all have been hanging my threads of patience.

Well here I am.

And here’s a review.

I went and saw Crank 2 a couple weeks ago.  Things in my life were somewhat stressful and I wanted to go see something that had explosions, violence, and titties.  It was either this or Fast and Furious.  I decided on this.

This movie was…how can I put this?  Insane.  Insane is a good word for it.  I don’t mean that as an insult either.  I went for escapist ultraviolent entertainment and that is exactly what I got.   

It was like a hodge podge of many different styles of media, thrown into a blender, adding sex, drugs, violence, Statham, Amy Smart titties, and ridiculousness to boot.  It was fun.  You gotta not take this movie seriously AT ALL.

At this point, I’d choose any movie with Jason Statham over Paul Walker any day.  I wouldn’t say I am ‘Gaytham for Statham’ like Patton but I’m close.

Don’t expect the movie to really make sense.  It does pick up where the first left off.  It amped up every aspect of the story that made the first one refreshing and fun to watch.  However, I will say I didn’t like how this movie ended.  I dont really know how else they could have ended it.

I’d give it 3 1/2 stars if I had em.
